This product is a knowledge product of the Isoko y’Ubuzima (Source of Life in Kinyarwanda), a WASH initiative funded by the U.S. Government and implemented by a consortium led by Water For People and including IRC, VEI, CARE, and AEE from 2021 to 2026. This document can be used in the following ways:

  1. To learn how the project used informal and formal financial systems to improve WASH Services in Rwanda.
  2. To inform the design and development of new similar projects.
  3. To share best practices, lessons learnt, and challenges during the implementation of this project and other similar projects.
